Hi there, I’m Shirley!
I’m a Business Action & Accountability Coach, mother of 2, wife of 1 (people tend to disapprove if you increase this number), and a certified Meta Dynamics Practitioner. You could also add avid reader, lazy cook, not-so-secret sci-fi geek, and appalling housekeeper to the list.
I also have an ‘Itty Bitty Sh*tty Committee!
Yes, I have a ‘negative nelly’ in my head that tells me I’m useless, a failure and a fraud. She’s a little pest and has caused countless distractions, procrastination and occasionally a paralyzing inaction that sabotaged the growth of my business.
Over time, I have learned to work with her (rather than let her overwhelm me) and I was able to take the action to grow my business. I am now creating the business of my dreams one action at a time (and am on track to double my income in this financial year).
It’s my journey, to overcome that ‘Itty Bitty Sh*tty Committee’, that has made me so passionate about helping other small business owners, direct sales consultants, and entrepreneurs to take action towards their goals despite the ‘negative nelly’ inside their heads.
You see, what fires me up, what fills me with joy and pride, is seeing you achieve and exceed your goals. Seeing you dance with delight and excitement when you reach the next milestone in your business, whether it is your biggest sales month so far, finally launching an online program or gaining a promotion in your direct sales business.
Nothing gives me greater pleasure than seeing you succeed in your own individual way (not even chocolate!)
My journey taught me a number of very important things but the one which stands out to me the most is that you can’t do this alone. You need the support of other people in business to help you move forward. You need to have the business bestie (or 2) who will cheer you on from the sidelines, pick you up when the times are tough and give you a kick in the pants when your mind gets in the way of your dreams.

Seven Random Facts About Me
I was born in the middle east to expat parents and have had the travel bug ever since. I had lived in 7 countries before the age of 13.
I have two amazing kids who drive me nuts but give me my drive and passion to grow my business.
I suffered Post Natal Depression after the birth of my daughter in 2008, it was a terrible time and I now volunteer as a speaker for Beyondblue to raise awareness and help others.
I live in the amazing city of Melbourne, Australia where the coffee is awesome, the weather changeable and my family is thriving.
As a child, I was determined to become a librarian. Then I realized the job did not involve sitting and reading all the library books every day – talk about a disappointment!
I’m a Geek! My fandoms are numerous and include Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings.
I love what I do and when I am not working you will find me reading or chilling with my kids.
